QuantumBlock is designed to operate primarily on your device. All core blocking and enforcement logic is executed locally and does not require a backend server operated by the developer.

However, the app uses Firebase services provided by Google LLC for the following purposes:

• Stability monitoring (Crashlytics)
• Aggregated usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)

The collected data is limited to technical and usage-related information such as:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Crash stack traces
• General usage events

No personal content, no blocked apps, no websites, and no user-defined rules are collected or transmitted.

QuantumBlock uses the Android Accessibility Service API to provide certain features. The Accessibility Service is used exclusively to:

• Detect which app or website is currently active in the foreground
• Block access to apps or websites you have defined in your blocklist

The Accessibility Service is NOT used to:

• Read inputs such as keystrokes
• Read content displayed inside other apps
• Capture or process sensitive or personal data
• Transmit any data to external servers or third parties

All processing takes place solely on your device.

To function as intended, QuantumBlock requires the following permissions:

• Usage Access (Usage Stats)To detect the currently used app.
• Display over other appsTo show the blocking screen.
• Notification Access (optional)To display the current protection status.

No personal data is collected through these permissions.

QuantumBlock uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google LLC.

• Data is processed by Google on behalf of the developer
• No personal content, user input, or blocked app data is transmitted

Data Transfers

• Data may be processed on servers located outside the EU, including the United States
• Transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses

Advertising Measurement

We use Firebase Analytics to measure the effectiveness of external advertising campaigns (such as Google Ads). When you install or use the app after interacting with such campaigns, Firebase Analytics may share anonymized conversion data with Google.

This includes:

• App installation events
• Purchase events (without personal payment information)
• Device identifiers for attribution

No advertisements are shown inside the app.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”).

IP Anonymization

IP anonymization is enabled. Your IP address is shortened before being transmitted to Google.

Legal Basis

The use of Google Analytics is based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics is only activated if you explicitly agree through the Cookie Banner.

Data Processing

Google processes data on behalf of the operator of this website to provide analytics reports and related services.

International Data Transfer

Data may be processed on servers in the United States. Transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

QuantumBlock offers a premium upgrade via Google Play. When you purchase premium:

• The transaction is processed exclusively by Google Play Services
• QuantumBlock does not operate any servers and has no access to payment information
• Google's privacy policy applies to the payment process: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Purchase verification is handled entirely on your device via the Google Play Billing API.
• QuantumBlock only records the status of your premium subscription (active/inactive) to unlock the corresponding features.
• No credit card data or other payment information is collected or stored by the developer.

We use RevenueCat to manage our subscription infrastructure.

Data

RevenueCat receives purchase tokens and an anonymous App User ID. It does not receive personal financial information.

Since QuantumBlock does not use user accounts, all your personal settings, blocking rules, and local statistics are stored exclusively on your device.

Local Data

Uninstalling the app will irreversibly delete all this data from your device.

Anonymous Analytics Data

The technical data collected via Firebase (e.g., crash reports) is automatically deleted according to Google's standard retention periods.

Deletion Request
